Truth be told I never grew up celebrating Halloween and really until recently did we start doing anything for it! Once we had Iris it changed and I knew I wanted to make it a fun way to just spend time with cousins and friends and family! This year I wanted to throw a costume party adults and kids and it ended up being so much fun! Everyone really went all out with their costume which was so cool and funny to see and I so appreciated it! What a fun distraction from the craziness around us right now in the world 😅! We had a fall soup, an autumnal salad, mini oven sandwiches, and some homemade baked mac and cheese! A bunch of autumn desserts were a must and had chaider and water and wine! I made a Halloween playlist full of Disney tunes, Halloween tunes, Harry Potter music, you name it, a hodgepodge of songs. Most importantly though was the costumes and I had goodie bag prizes for all of the kiddos and one prize for the best dressed individual adult costume and one for the best collaborated costume! We all voted and to my surprise (honestly) we won best collaborated haha but that was no fun seeing as I bought the prize so I made everyone revote with their second pick and well deservedly the Addams Family won! The best single adult went to my Aunt Diane who filled her face with rings and arms with tattoos and turned into an almost unrecognizable biker chic haha! I hope you enjoy this montage of photos, I did NOT get a chance to photograph every costume which I know stinks because there were many more than you will see below but I hope you enjoy the moments I did catch!🥰
